What We Do
World Sight’s goal is to help prevent and reverse sight impairments of vulnerable populations globally. Nearly eighty percent of all vision impairments, including complete blindness, are surgically correctable.
Through World Sight’s cost-effective algorithm, it requires only 25 US dollars per eye for physicians to perform vision-restoring surgeries. So far, World Sight physicians have operated in "Pop-Up" clinics in rural Pakistan, Ghana, Madagascar and Tanzania; in time, we hope to expand wherever help is needed. In addition, basic eye care is also provided to all eligible individuals at no charge, thereby addressing both surgically treatable pathologies in addition to preventative medical care.
World Sight depends on your support to restore vision in developing countries.
Your support goes directly to providing sight-restoring surgeries in areas where large populations are unable to access much-needed eye care.
Support the cause and help us restore sight today, thereby connecting communities tomorrow!
