9 hours each day I'm on conference calls, making excel spreadsheets, in meetings but through most of it I'm sitting. Sitting in what can be best described as a cubicle forest...
Things are different now and this cubicle forest has transformed into my personal training ground and I'm a self-proclaimed "Loafer Trekker"!
Loafer Trekker (noun): A person/people who work a 9-5pm job, but are training for extreme activities (i.e. climbing mountains, training for marathons, cross-country bike trips, etc.) during work hours, while wearing business casual.
Loafers on a my feet- Kili on my mind.
5:45am: Wake up alarm and naturally it includes the inspirational mountain/sunrise/hiking boot/dancing lady emojis to help me get the trekking party started!
I don't know what the next few months have in store, but again I have Mt. Kili on my mind, Loafers on my feet, my teammates by my side, and World Sight's patients in my heart so I'm ready to tackle whatever comes next.
